Community Involvement

At the New York Life New Hampshire General Office, we do more than work in the community, we're part of it. Many of our Agents have local roots - some even go back generations. That's important, because it gives them a vested interest in the people and businesses that make up the community. We believe there's no greater job than helping our friends and neighbors succeed. Some of the organizations we support include:

Ronald McDonald House Charities

Our team enjoyed participating in the Region 4 Walk-A-Thon to support the Ronald McDonald House Charities. We were able to log 160 hours across our region to secure a grant for the Ronald McDonald house in the amount of $2,880.

Meals on Wheels

We work together to collect and build gift bags for Meals on Wheels recipients to help provide the home bound elderly with necessities and cross word puzzles during the holiday season. Our collective efforts resulted in a team grant to the St Joseph’s Community Services in support of their Meals on Wheels program.

The Jason R Flood Memorial Fund

We have volunteered at several events and provided team grants to support this foundation, which was established to help erase the stigma of suicide and to bring the topic of mental health to everyday conversation. This fund is known for their large event called Pizza Stock in which young adult groups perform musically on stage for the title of the Pizza Stock winner.  Proceeds from this organization are then donated to local groups that specialize in counseling and the mental health of our youth.

We have partnered with Best Buddies International and have opened NH’s first Adult Peer Chapter of Best Buddies through our New York Life Office. This chapter assists with matching adult peers to adult individuals with disabilities.  The program helps foster self-confidence, independence and companionship between members.
